PET Containers (PVT) limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wimaladharma Brothers established in 1995, and is one of the pioneering companies in the PET packaging industry in Sri Lanka.
Wimaladharma Brothers, a well-known name in the watch and clock industry since 1936, diversified its traditional business interests into a market segment that was somewhat unexplored in Sri Lanka at the time – the design and manufacture of PET bottles and containers. PET Containers (Pvt) Ltd. has been providing customer-oriented packaging solutions for over a decade, moving from a somewhat labor- intensive operation to a highly automated environment to cater to rapidly evolving consumer preferences.
Our premium-quality European engineered equipment, which is calibrated to precise manufacturing specifications, allows the company to offer its customers exceptional quality standards as well as flexibility in terms of design and production capabilities unmatched by any in the industry.
Operating out of a purpose-built factory in the industrial hub of Ratmalana, it has expanded its operations over the years to accommodate the growing demand for plastic packaging and containers driven by the FMCG sector.
The company provides the best quality ‘Hot-Fill’ products in the market. The ‘Hot-Fill’ system is a highly popular technology in the packaging industry due to its properties of extending the shelf-life (up to 12 months) of its product contents. This efficient, safe and effective process meets all international food and safety standards worldwide.
